PNCR
continues to frustrate Dear Editor, The Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) recently conducted a training course for field staff, as part of the Commission's preparation for the Continuous Registration process, which will begin shortly. The Opposition now claims that the training programme is unsatisfactory, although experts who have no affiliation to the PPP/C are in full support of it. What is strange is the fact that the PNCR has been calling for the Continuous Voter Registration process to begin. However, now that GECOM is moving in that direction, the Opposition has objections. This is a clear indication of the PNCR's quest to disrupt the entire process, with the hope of delaying elections in 2006. Jason Hinds Sunday
