hold in custody, and preserve all archival materials, pertaining to the
nation's history, and to disseminate the information to the public

and is about a deranged man who injured 11 people when he chopped down a
tree in the Le Repentir Cemetery.
During
Hoyte era, Ronnie, a pan boiler at Blairmont estate, was walking up the
Canje bridge with his bicycle. Unaware that the man was behind him, he was hit
on his head twice with an iron bar and pronounced dead
at New Amsterdam Hospital.
Under
Colonial rule, I had no idea as to what a person with mental illness looks
like as all were kept in the Fort Canje Hospital, Berbice.
But
under Emperor Burham and Sir Ramphal, crook of the India Diaspora, I saw a
hell of lot of deranged or mad people, a few naked, roaming the streets
in New Amsterdam and at the Government Stelling. A few Indians went mad
after Ramphal gave Burham the tools to confiscate their properties.
The
annoying observance of these deranged or mad people is when they approach you
for money, they smells and refusal to give them , watch out for their violent
behaviour.
I
saw no deranged or mad people in cities like Bombay, Hyderabad and Madras -
India.
After
